Tactics With an Experation Date
This is an excellent example of a forked tongued politician. He doesn’t just dodge the reporter’s question, he also pivots by firing back his own question. This shifts the focus and all but insures he will not have to answer the original question. It is a mediocre attempt that most people can see through. Unless, of course, you’ve already pledged your loyalty to the party instead of the country. Party-over-patriotism is the poison now coursing through America’s veins.
The 24-hour news cycle and the phones seemingly attached to our hands have allowed the puppet masters unlimited access to our minds. They influence what we see. The news that we ingest and later regurgitate. This makes the useful idiots feel connected, involved, and informed. All the while dancing on strings they never notice.
Trump is not right all the time, I don’t agree with everything he does. That provides me with some reassurance that I am not too far gone. That I haven’t drunk the kool-aid and don’t put party over country. The real sickness isn’t that people pick sides, they always have. The sickness is that today’s radical partisans believe they’re the enlightened ones, armed with “facts” that are nothing more than polished propaganda built on half-truths.
That is where the real danger lies. Today everyone is so convinced not only that they are right, but that the other side is evil, that we have developed a great hate for the opposition. We hate fellow Americans because algorithms and media feed us an endless drip of lies dressed as truth. Pre-loaded arrows for useful idiot quivers. They shoot those arrows out as fast as they can. It makes them feel smart while they dance on the end of their puppet strings for those who influenced them into a desired response that benefits the master, never the puppet.
More information than ever in front of them so they believe themselves informed when they are really only influenced and yes, even brainwashed.
So the Senator was able to pivot away from the question, but not only that. He had the nerve to interrogate the reporter a question as if that is a normal thing. The power dynamic does not run 2 ways here. This politician let on exactly how he sees himself. Less like a servant and more like royalty.
How dare he. Still, the cheering fans of party over country crowd do not see the trick, they only see the morality in their team. These people have been fooled into seeing lies as truth and excusing shady behavior for political savvy. The ends often justify the means.
So this silver-tongued sinner reframes the question into a narrative. He does this by asking the reporter a new question. Or rather, he makes a statement of lies framed as facts designed to manufacture an emotional response in the people that helps to prop up his narrative since it cannot stand on facts. If you challenge it, you are a monster that hates poor people, or kids. Maybe you’re racist or whatever the most effective label is for the moment. In his response he attempts to rant and blame Trump for the shutdown and for taking food away from poor people. The reality is Trump has taken nothing. Yet the narrative teaches them that Trump is using SNAP money to build a royal ballroom.
The undeniable reality is that Senate Democrats are forcing this on the American people. Or as they refer to us, as leverage.
This is not about some random bill that needs to be negotiated. This is about passing a clean Continuing Resolution so that the government can operate as it had been previously. In March 2025 10 Senate democrats joined the republicans and voted to pass a CR 54-46 that expired on September 30th and contained 13 billion in cuts. Not loaded with spending like the Democrats currently want.
This is political theater with victims. This isn’t negotiation, this is hostage taking. Democrats lit the fuse, betting the bomb would explode on Republicans. Now they don’t know what to do.
Trump is simply allowing their bomb to explode in their faces. The democrats used to be able to win these battles and bring the republicans to their knees by using the media to carry their water. Creating and pushing dishonest narratives to swing public opinion in the democrats favor.
What is different now is that the republicans are finally playing hardball and the press isn’t uniformly complicit as they used to be. The democrats narrative/tactics have an expiration date. This is why you see them getting more emotional. Their videos contain more angry language. Their speeches more emotional cries. It is often the children they say they want to protect. Yet this is just another political move on a congressional chessboard. They can say they want to protect the children then turn around and push abortion. They say they want to protect children, then vote to allow boys in girls locker rooms. Men in women showers.
The hypocrisy is finally being exposed, by the democrats themselves. They swung too far left. They followed the whims of the progressive and socialist wing of the democrat party and the people simply don’t support it. The people want accountability and decency.
The democrats have moved so far left by pushing these woke agendas that they have alienated the people. Average people do not support open borders, illegal immigration, defunding the police, trans sports and bathroom issues, among other crazy policies.
For a decade the far left has been staging a hostile takeover of the Democratic Party, using the same cancel-culture playbook Democrats once wielded against Republicans. Essentially giving them a taste of their own medicine. It is kind of fun to watch. If Democrats disagree on trans sports they are bigots. Question open borders and they are racist. The left is terrified of labels, moderate Democrats appeased instead of fought. Now the radicals hold the reins, and the spiral continues.
We all know the labels they use as weapons.
As Biden would say, “You know the thing.”
They don’t want to be called names so the democrats in a desperate attempt to prevent the complete takeover of their party by the far left, have chosen the route of appeasement. In so doing, have handed the far left the reigns of the party.
This will continue until a new Democrat leader steps forward. A charismatic smooth talker with moderate views. I don’t believe we know that person’s name yet. We will soon.
The democrat will not win elections again on the national stage until they can rally behind someone. The left needs their Trump. They need someone willing to speak truth to leftist power. A charismatic moderate who can speak truth to leftist power, purge the Soros-funded extremists, and drag the tent back to the center.
Restoring moderates and expelling far left progressives from places of influence and leadership.
The democrat party needs another JFK, not another socialist like Zohran Mamdani.
