Philippians 2:4 - “not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”
With Trump about to take office, a lot of things are going to change. Some already are. As the inevitability of a Trump election win became more real, those who had previously spoken out against him began to back away from their comments. At least publicly. Now, for the last few months, those people have been coming out of the woodwork. Or more accurately, rising out of the muck of the swamp. They want to latch onto a politician, or political movement. The next thing. Something they can turn into influence, fame, power, or money. For these summer soldiers everything they do is for their own personal gain.
We see these shameless snake oil salesmen and sunshine patriots all across the political spectrum. Anywhere that they can benefit they will appear. Some want to serve in his administration so they are lobbying President Trump for a position. Kissing the ring they previously spat on. This is one reason I feel J.D. Vance was a mistake. Time will tell.
They operate on every level from Presidential politics to small grassroots movements. Always in pursuit of the same four things. Influence, fame, power, and money. I have witnessed these con artists myself. I’ve seen how hard they work to protect their manufactured image. How they appear only when there is some angle they can work to their benefit.
Working with different patriotic groups I have seen what most of us already know. When you get a group of strangers together, you can have problems. Not everyone plays well with others. Some gears are harder to turn. Some people will work harder than others. Some will come just to take, never to give. Unless it is on camera.
When these cancers descend onto your movement You have to do your best to cut away the tumors. If not, they only end up hurting the movement.
They claim to be the rose that grew from concrete. However once the sun comes out and the people can see clearly, the flower withers.
Be leery of those who walk around bragging about how much they do for the movement.
Psalm 94:4 – “They pour out their arrogant words; all the evildoers boast.”
These boastful gypsies and grifters try to live off of donations and pity. They didn’t love their country. They only love themselves. Opportunists and nothing more.
Those at home are the real targets of these grifters. They want your money and respect but deserve neither. That is the game. To make those watching believe the con artist is a good person. Worthy of the donations and respect they seek to steal with their forked tongue and the lies it weaves.
Proverbs 27:2 – “Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.”
Some of these parasites have disgraced themselves on numerous occasions. Yet they feel they still deserve to be respected. Not because they earned it, rather because they demand it. They demand it because they helped organize a con artist convoy and left without warning anyone of the coming collapse. Or because of where they were standing at a particular time on January 6th, 2021.
Some people purposefully put themselves just outside the fire and claim to have been burned. Sometimes they allow themselves to be burned because that fortifies credibility. They can no longer be questioned. Those who do are attacked for it. The person asking the questions or trying to lift the veil of lies is attacked.
Without some conflict evil will win. We cannot avoid it we must engage and purge it. Men who stay silent are complicit and those to weak to stand against it are damaging what they intend to protect.
Ephesians 5:11 – “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.”
These parasitic opportunists that I speak of believe that just being present on J6 punches a ticket of immunity from criticism. Are we supposed to ignore these things? The serious lack of character, self-control, or love of country displayed by those who have tried to grift off of the experience? The ones who wish to prop themselves up as heroes but in reality, they are villains? Does behavior not matter? Does character no longer matter?
It is hard to monetize good behavior and good character. It is much easier to sell drama and showboating. These slimy snake oil salesmen capitalize on crisis. They abuse the American people and are trying to work their way back into the frontlines. They offer nothing, yet they all want the same things. Influence, fame, power, and money. Nothing new under the sun. They only need a grip on one and they can use it to achieve the others.
Grifters and clout chasers will always be there. Popping up anytime an opportunity presents itself. They are not exclusive to any movement or mission. In fact, they don’t care about the mission or the people involved who are sacrificing for it. They only care how it will benefit them. Parasites are not picky in their desperate attempts to achieve one of the 4, (influence, fame, power, or money). Sacrificing any principles or morals they claim to have. Willing to stab their friends in the back if it benefits them.
Slimy people do slimy things. We must expect it.
Proverbs 12:26 – “One who is righteous is a guide to his neighbor, but the way of the wicked leads them astray”
They instigate fights and then try to play the victim. They assault the weak and lie to the people they call friends. They claim to love America yet in childish fits of rage are quick to throw down the flag. They are a virus. A cancer on the movements they attach themselves too. They don’t want mission success. They only want their success. Demanding leadership roles, followers, and anything else that will feed their enormous egos.
In my experience I have found that these sunshine patriots cannot control their emotions. This causes them to be easily triggered and easier to control. Like puppets their strings control them. Like a feather in the river they are pushed by the current. Or the current thing. They are not the leaders they pretend to be.
They love themselves.
Matthew 7:15 - “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.”
To the true patriots out there. The ones doing these things for the right reasons and with a big heart. I tip my hat to you. I salute you and I appreciate you for doing what so many of us cannot.
Be careful who you associate with.
1 Corinthians 15:33 – “Do not be deceived: Bad company ruins good morals.”
Don’t be so eager for support that you’ll accept those slithering snake oil salesmen. They are coming. They want the recognition you are about to receive. Do not welcome grifters back into the movement. They will only steal your credibility.
Psalm 101:7 - “I will not allow deceivers to serve in my house, and liars will not stay in my presence.”
The J6 movement is a good example to use for this article, but it is certainly not the only one. Just one I am familiar with. There are a lot of players that have raised their heads out of the muck to personally benefit from J6. Some are trying to build careers out of it. Their donations keep coming. Yet the front-line patriots who have sacrificed and suffered every single day are just scraping by. These patriots are in it for the mission and the mission alone. They have proven it and paid their dues 10 times over. Happy warriors who have shown up consistently without complaint. Night after night.
So with Trump taking office soon, the rewards of many years of dedication and sacrifice are about to pay off. The parasites and grifters know this. They are working to steal a bit of that notoriety away from those who earned it.
Wake up to these grifters and tumors in the movement before they do too much damage. Steal too many accolades. Accept too many donations.
I’ve been around these grifters since my first day in the movement. Through the years I’ve learned a lot. I’ve seen them up close, the good and the bad. I’ve seen the damage these clout chasers, and grifters cause. They bring a cancer called division. They must be exposed and purged.
Who better to inspire others to call out these merchants in the temple, these tumors among us. Who better than someone who has held the highest standards of behavior? Through the years I have kept my integrity and built a solid reputation. I’ve never sacrificed my principles. Never abandoned my morals. Never crossed a line to the bad choices of the “back 40”.
I don’t expect you to be right. I expect you to do right.
Proverbs 21:3 – “Do what is right and fair; that pleases the Lord more than bringing him sacrifices.”
I’ve always been honest. I’ve never sacrificed my integrity. Always kept my poise. I don’t get triggered, and I don’t speak out of emotions or feelings. I see things for what they are. Facts are the only thing that matter.
I will be attacked for this as I have been before. Just like before, these attacks will fall away.
No weapon formed against me…
1 Peter 3:17 - “For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.”
